02 WHY WELLINDER
One Pillar Isn’t Enough
Before Wellinder, I sold a skincare device. I wanted to understand what I was selling, so I started studying how skin actually works: why it gets dry and why it loses its glow.
Two things stayed with me: how important the skin barrier is for retaining moisture, and how much daily UV exposure contributes to skin ageing. But I couldn’t find a collagen product designed with both in mind.
So, alongside collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid — ingredients commonly combined in Korean formulas — I added milk ceramide and white tomato, even though they made the formula more expensive.
Skin is a little like building a house. One strong pillar isn’t enough. The whole structure has to work together, with every weak spot reinforced. That’s the idea Wellinder was built on.
